After struggling to progress their revamp with another web design company, the CEO of the Rotorua International Airport contacted us to ask for our assistance.
They wanted a clean, professional website built on a robust, easy to use content management system (CMS). With all our experience with WordPress, we recommended they use that to power their site and once they had learnt of the benefits and how easy it was to manage they were happy to use it.

The Regent of Rotorua went through a major transformation at the end of 2008 turning it into a stylish modern boutique hotel with a touch of glamour. The new owners have turned the 1950s Rotorua inner-city motel complex into a fantastic oasis of understated contemporary elegance and comfort.

Rotorua Sustainable Tourism Charter

The Rotorua Sustainable Tourism Charter is a grass roots initiative. It is being developed and operated by the local tourism industry, and designed to create strategies that protect the natural and physical environment.
We built the site on the fantastic WordPress blogging/CMS platform and custom designed a clean theme with lots of white space and the natural grass element to tie it into the sustainable theme.
Fig Tree Cafe

Fig Tree Cafe is an awesome little 60 seater cafe in Upper Hutt, were I used to live, that is inside a charming restored chapel. It’s food and coffee is absolutely amazing and somewhat of a local buzz and they needed a funky website that they could update themselves with news and updates.
Watermania

Watermania is a new start-up waterskiing and wakeboarding company in Rotorua, New Zealand. Offering a charter service on all the great lakes around Rotorua. Watermania approached us wanting our complete business start-up package. Logo design, brochure DLE rack card, business cards and a clean, no nonsense professional website to drive people to contact the owner. We used the great Mootools javascript framework to do some smart page transitions and image galleries. The client couldn’t be happier and we think it’s pretty tidy too.
ASTRAY Motel & Backpackers, Rotorua

ASTRAY Motel & Backpackers, Rotorua, previously Microtel Rotorua, wanted to break away from their chain and re-invent themselves. We were contracted to design a new logo, design business cards, brochure rack cards, and of course and outstanding website. Built on a WordPress CMS/Blogging platform which puts the power back into the clients control to edit the content of the site.
The Redwoods, Rotorua

The Redwoods, Rotorua was looking for a professionally designed website that was inline with the rotoruaNZ.com family of websites and enlisted the help of a local graphic designer to design the look of the site. I took those designs and brought them to life with flash, transparencies and accordion style pages. They are extremely pleased with the final product.

ADRA or Adventist Development & Relief Agency International wanted help with redesigning and hosting their new look site. Built on a WordPress blogging/CMS, which allows total control of the content from the web administrators. Designed from the ground up to align with the international website.
Paparoa Park Motels

The Paparoa Park Motels wanted a fresh new look that captured the feel of their new motel units. Using the wood grain background to show the units and the olive green to symbolize the surrounding nature. I also created a flash site to accompany the plain html version shown in the images here.

Profiles Rotorua was commissioned in September 2006. Being the ONLY gym in Rotorua which has Les Mills aerobics classes, Profiles felt it was important to have a internet presence. Designed with a clean professional look using silhouettes of people, Profiles are now generating fresh new customers from having a window to the world.
